Meet the Wellness Team

At Just Be Well, our team is more than a group of professionals — we’re a community dedicated to helping you thrive. Each member brings unique expertise, compassion, and purpose to your journey toward whole-life wellness.

Thomas Sult, MD

Dr. Sult has spent more than three decades asking a different question than most of medicine:  why.

As an instructor for the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM.org), he has educated thousands of clinicians worldwide and is frequently sought out for complex cases when answers have been difficult to find.

Board-certified in Family Medicine and trained in Functional Medicine, he looks beyond symptoms to uncover the underlying patterns driving illness. His work is grounded in a systems-based approach, integrating biochemistry, immunology, neuroscience, and environmental factors to understand how health is lost—and how it can be restored.

At Just Be Well, Dr. Sult works with patients facing chronic and unresolved conditions, helping them make sense of their health in a way that is both clear and actionable. His approach is thoughtful, thorough, and deeply analytical, with a focus on identifying the root causes that allow for long-term healing and resilience.

Patients often describe Dr. Sult as curious and committed to finding answers. He believes that when the underlying drivers of imbalance are understood, the body has a remarkable ability to restore health.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sult enjoys outdoor adventures including skiing, climbing, biking, and hiking. He values time with family and brings that same sense of curiosity and resilience into the work he does each day.

Elizabeth Sult, RN, NC-BC

Elizabeth brings a thoughtful, whole-person approach to care, grounded in both clinical experience and deep presence. With a background in nursing across emergency, med-surgical, recovery, and chronic care settings, she understands how health evolves over time. Her work is rooted in functional medicine and functional nursing, allowing her to look beyond symptoms and support the deeper patterns influencing a patient’s health.

At Just Be Well, Elizabeth works closely with patients to help them feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate their healing journey. She helps translate complex functional medicine plans into practical, sustainable rhythms that patients can carry into their daily lives. She also oversees the clinic’s day-to-day operations, helping ensure a consistent and supportive experience for both patients and team members.

Patients experience Elizabeth as calm, present, and deeply attentive. She believes that healing happens when the body is supported, the nervous system is regulated, and a person feels safe enough to reconnect with themselves.

Outside of the clinic, Elizabeth enjoys writing, reading, and spending time outdoors on walks. She values time with her spouse, children, and grandchildren, and brings that same sense of connection and care into the work she does each day.
