Mindful Movement: Feel Better & Enjoy Life

Mindful movement helps us get out of fight-or-flight.  During fight-or-flight, our body is working to keep us safe in what we've perceived as a dangerous situation. While this is important in certain situations (like running away from a bear), it's only meant to last seconds, not days, months, or years.

Our favorite way to get mindful movement in is a daily evening walk. It's a great way to release or process things that may have happened that day.   Leave your phone behind (if possible) and fully immerse yourself in everything around you.
