5 Steps to Restore Gut Health: Live from Mother's Cupboard

We hosted this event at Mother's Cupboard in New London, MN on April 12th.  What a great morning!

Here's a recap!

Leaky gut  can lead to inflammation, autoimmune diseases, hormone disruption, and other health issues.

We dive into 5 steps to restore gut health in this presentation.

(1) Remove  - We talk through what to remove from your diet to improve gut health

[Check out ewg.org - this is a great guideline to help reduce toxins from your food and every day products.]

(2) Replace - the “good” stuff to add in!

(3) Reinoculate

(4) Repair

(5) Rebalance

When it comes to overall health, unless there is a compelling reason to do otherwise you should start in the gut. Not only is the gut essential for digestion and absorption of nutrients, but 70% of your immune system lives there.

Additionally, your Microbiome, that teaming ecology of bacteria, fungi, and viruses that live in and on your body is primarily in the gut. The micro biome is essential for detoxification, immune health, hormone health, digestion and even mood.

If you were able to join us at Mother's Cupboard - thank you for coming and asking great questions! If you joined us on Facebook Live or are catching the replay now on You Tube - please let us know what questions you have.  We would love to hear from you.
